Redball Social Pickleball
Rules:
Game Duration:
- Each pickleball match has a maximum duration of 30 minutes.
- If the match time elapses before a winner is determined, the team with the higher score at that moment wins the game.
- Match winner will be determined by the number of games won in 30 minutes.
Tie-Breaker - 1 Volley Match:
- In case of a tie at the end of the 30-minute match, a tie-breaker will be played.
- The tie-breaker is a 1-volley play, where each team gets one opportunity to score. The team with the higher score in the tie-breaker wins.
Winning Score:
- Regular games have a winning score of 12 points.
- The tie-breaker also follows a winning score of 12 points if needed.
Levels of Play:
Competitive Level:
- Strict adherence to standard pickleball rules with the modifications mentioned.
- Emphasis on skill and strategy.
- Players are expected to have a good understanding of the game.
Average Level:
- Slightly relaxed rules compared to the competitive level.
- Encourages fair play and sportsmanship.
- Suitable for players with moderate experience.
Fun Level:
- Casual and laid-back atmosphere.
- Rules are kept simple and easy to follow.
- Emphasis on enjoyment rather than strict competition.
Self-Refereeing with Redball Social Oversight:
- Players are responsible for making their own calls.
- Redball Social provides oversight and guidance, stepping in if needed to ensure fair play.
- Players are encouraged to communicate openly and resolve disputes amicably.
