Redball Social Pickleball


Rules:

Game Duration:

  1. Each pickleball match has a maximum duration of 30 minutes.
  2. If the match time elapses before a winner is determined, the team with the higher score at that moment wins the game.
  3.  Match winner will be determined by the number of games won in 30 minutes.

Tie-Breaker - 1 Volley Match:

  1. In case of a tie at the end of the 30-minute match, a tie-breaker will be played.
  2. The tie-breaker is a 1-volley play, where each team gets one opportunity to score. The team with the higher score in the tie-breaker wins.

Winning Score:

  1. Regular games have a winning score of 12 points.
  2. The tie-breaker also follows a winning score of 12 points if needed.

Levels of Play:

  1. Competitive Level:

    • Strict adherence to standard pickleball rules with the modifications mentioned.
    • Emphasis on skill and strategy.
    • Players are expected to have a good understanding of the game.
  2. Average Level:

    • Slightly relaxed rules compared to the competitive level.
    • Encourages fair play and sportsmanship.
    • Suitable for players with moderate experience.
  3. Fun Level:

    • Casual and laid-back atmosphere.
    • Rules are kept simple and easy to follow.
    • Emphasis on enjoyment rather than strict competition.

Self-Refereeing with Redball Social Oversight:

  1. Players are responsible for making their own calls.
  2. Redball Social provides oversight and guidance, stepping in if needed to ensure fair play.
  3. Players are encouraged to communicate openly and resolve disputes amicably.
